Delete your account & data
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Applies to Sayvine Biz (com.sayvine.app) and your Sayvine account. Questions: [email protected].
How to request deletion
You can request deletion of your Sayvine account and its data in two ways:
- In the app — Sayvine Biz → More → Account → Delete account.
- On the web — sign in at app.sayvine.com and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will verify you and process the request.
What happens immediately
As soon as you confirm, your business is closed: sign-in stops working, your AI assistants stop answering, and your public booking page goes offline.
Two shared resources are returned to us at that moment and cannot be guaranteed back: the Sayvine phone number loaned to your business, and your managed Sayvine email address. Both may be reassigned to another business. If you are unsure, cancel first and delete later.
What is deleted, after 30 days
We wait 30 days before destroying anything, so an accidental or unauthorized request can be undone. After that window, we permanently delete:
- Your customer list — names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, visit history, and preferences.
- Appointments, bookings, waitlist entries, and reservations.
- Clinical records, charts, documents, and consent forms, where your business used them.
- Messages, call records, and chat history.
- Staff records, schedules, and payroll references.
- Products, inventory, suppliers, and purchase orders.
- Your website, blog posts, marketing campaigns, and media library.
- Reviews, loyalty balances, gift cards, and memberships.
What we keep, and why
We do not keep anything that identifies you, your staff, or your customers. We do retain a small amount of financial and administrative data, which we are generally required to keep:
- Revenue, payment, and expense totals — retained for tax and accounting obligations. Every link to a customer, staff member, or appointment is removed, and free-text notes are erased, so these records name no one.
- A placeholder record of the account itself, stripped of your business name, handle, domain, and settings. It exists only so the retained financial totals have somewhere to hang and so the account identifier is never reused.
- Your billing history with our payment processor (Stripe), which is governed by their retention obligations.
- Records we are required to preserve by law, or that are subject to a legal hold or an open dispute, for as long as that obligation lasts.
Changing your mind (within 30 days)
When you request deletion we email you a confirmation with a cancellation link. That link works for the full 30 days and does not require you to sign in — deletion closes your account, so we do not make undoing it depend on the login you just lost.
Cancelling restores your account and all of its data. It does not restore the phone number or the managed email address, which were released when you made the request.
After 30 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed by you or by us.
Deleting one customer instead
If you are a customer of a business that uses Sayvine and you want your own record removed, contact that business directly. They control their customer data; we process it on their behalf. They can erase your record from within Sayvine at any time.
